YOMU at the “Entreprendre dans la culture” Forum at ENSA Marseille

Founder & CEO of YOMU, passionate about revolutionising museum experiences through technology.

YOMU at the “Entreprendre dans la culture” Forum, at the National School of Architecture in Marseille
Recently, YOMU – Your Online Museum took part in the “Entreprendre dans la culture” Forum, held at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Marseille (ENSA Marseille).
Invited by the DRAC and Arsud, we hosted a dedicated stand to present YOMU to cultural professionals, students and stakeholders from the creative and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
A stand to showcase a new approach to digital mediation
The forum was an opportunity to present YOMU as a personalised digital mediation solution for museums, foundations and heritage sites:
- a free mobile app for visitors,
- content adapted to knowledge level and interests,
- playful quizzes to reinforce learning,
- multilingual audioguides generated with AI,
- and a web platform for museum teams.
On our stand, we were able to run live demos, show the interface, explain use cases in exhibitions and answer questions from professionals.
Meaningful exchanges with cultural and institutional stakeholders
Throughout the day, we met:
- representatives from the French Ministry of Culture and its regional bodies,
- managers and staff from cultural organisations,
- project leaders and creative entrepreneurs,
- students interested in mediation and digital innovation.
These conversations allowed us to:
- confirm the relevance of our approach in real-world contexts,
- better understand the current priorities of institutions (young audiences, accessibility, innovation),
- identify potential partnerships and pilot projects.
A strong signal for the role of innovation in culture
YOMU’s presence at the “Entreprendre dans la culture” Forum at ENSA Marseille is part of a broader movement: a closer dialogue between innovation, digital tools and cultural policy.
For museums and heritage institutions, events like this show that:
- new solutions are emerging to attract and retain audiences,
- digital tools can be a mediation lever, not just a communication channel,
- startups such as YOMU work closely with institutions to test concrete use cases.
Thanks to Arsud, the DRAC and ENSA Marseille
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Arsud and the DRAC for their invitation and trust, and to ENSA Marseille for hosting the forum in such a stimulating environment.
We also thank all speakers, participants and visitors who stopped by our stand for the quality of their questions and feedback. These insights are invaluable to keep evolving YOMU in line with the needs of institutions and their audiences.
Next steps: co-building with museums and territories
Following this forum, our ambition remains the same: to put digital tools and play at the service of cultural mediation, in close collaboration with teams on the ground.
We are continuing the conversations initiated during the event with organisations that wish to:
- test YOMU on exhibitions,
- co-design routes and content,
- measure the impact of these tools on audience engagement.
If you represent a museum, heritage institution or cultural organisation and would like to know more, we would be delighted to talk further following this event.
